At an important London railway station an American was waiting with growing impatience whilst a Scotsman counted his change with characteristic deliberation. At last the Yank, pationce exhausted, shouted: “Say, can’t you get a move on? I’d sooner have six Americans in front of me than ope of you Scotsmen!” “Aye,” replied the Scotsman promptly, “that’s what the Germans said.”
