THE FUTURE LIFE

(To the Editor) c,;,. .._..[ tl your issue of 16th insl,.. there appeared a' letter signed "Future Life." It was a remarkable letter in that it contained several quotations from the. Scriptures as proof that the doctrine, erf the immortab'ty of the soul is false doctrine! Truly Sir Arthur Keith, by his positive statements .m this momentous subject, has raised ijuestions in the minds of some of us which otherwise might never have troubled us at, all. and it ?s surprising that the, letter referred to above has not been replied to "ofiicially." Clergymen may do so verbally from' their respective pulpits, but. Sir, it would be interesting to see a reply to "Eternal Life" from one or more than one of their number in your valuable paper, for the. writer nnmistakeably in the concluding sentences of his letter throw's out a. challenge to orthodox teachers.—l am, etc., PERPLEXED. Nelson. 22nd May.
