PRUSSIAN DIET ELECTIONS
NATIONALISTS HEAVILY
DEFEATED

BERLIN, 21st May
Elections for the Prussian Diet were held simultaneously with the general election, and also resulted in the heavy defeat of the Nationalists, who lost 42 out of 109 seats. Socialists are the strongest party with 114 ; Communists 50; all others combined 219.
CaTHNET TO RESIGN (Received 22nd Mav, 1.25 p.m.) BERLIN. 21st May. "Taglische Rundschau" asserts that Cabinet will tender its resignation tomorrow.
