TRAVELLING TINKER
PLEADS GUILTY TO THEFTS
(By Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. At the Magistrate's Court, Henry Patrick Moore, aged 38, pleaded guilty to eight charges of breaking and entering various houses earlv this ' month, and committing theft. The police said (Jiat accused travelled round as a linker to gain entrance. Tie broke the leadlights over doors or windows and then loosed the catch. Tn all he had taken £IOO worth of goods and jewellery from eight houses. He was caught in the act at a Sydenham house. l\" was committed for sentence, no bail being applied for.
