Qunyle. W. St dwell, B. Colvin : auditor. S. B. Oanavnn (re-elected): delegates to Sub-Union, F. B. Slolir and C. '\ honison : senior selection committee. I>. I’,irk, J. It. Clark and B. Colvin ; junior and third class coach, It. Clark.
It was decided that the appointment of selectors for junior and third class teams In* left to respective teams. Mr J. ('. Smith (retiring; president) said it had been a pleasure to have hmi Iluiii’s chief elective ollrcer and he thanked his brother nflieors for their assistance during Iho past season. lie congratulated Mr Stobr and the club. Mr Stobr bad bad great experience of the game and was most enthusiastic. Mr Stobr said he felt, honoured ori being elected president. If be was as enthusiastic as Mr Siiith had been tie would do well. A letter was received from the Waimea. Football Club asking for a match on 21st April. This matter was left to tin* management committee. It was decided that a senior, a junior and third class team in* entered for competition. Mr Stobr commented on the lack of practice matches prior to opening of competitions among club teams. On (lie. motion of Messrs Thomson and Clark it was agreed to ask 1 lie* Tasman Footluill Club for a practice match on 21st or 28t-'.i April. Mr J. It. Clark moved ilia! I In* club express appreciation of Mr B. Knapps services as junior coach: (2) that Pet one leant he thanked for ils visit to Alo tuelca ; (. 7 >) that retiring officers be thanked for services rendered during past season. This wtis seconded by Mr C. Thomson and carried.
’Mr Slolir was of the opinion that selectors should endeavour to make (heir selection from financial members. .Messrs W. IT. Owen and Bay Fry were thanked for donation of fruit to Pelone footballers.
A number of new members have joined the club.
