Lord Birkenhead. Secretary of Stale for India, is the rent re of another political storm. He is charged with flouting Mi Baldwin's ban on Minister-jour-nalists, and with using the columns of a women's journal to ciiticise his leaders enfranchisement of flappers' Bill, which has yet to go before the House of Lords. Lord Birkenhead's article asserts thai the incursion of women into industry and pontics has failed and will continue to fail.
