ESCAPE FROM BURNING BUILDin a (By. Telegraph.—Press Association) CHRTSTCHURCH. This" Day. Suddenly confronted with flames on all sides,'.Tolln Thorn, who resides at 182 Antigua streeet, was compelled to make a. hasty exit- from his house early lasfi. evening. He sustained burns to the. forehead which necessitated his admission to hospital. His injuries were riot serious.
The fire apparently started in, the ■back of the building and quickly spread. A good deal of damage was done to ihe building.
