At flic Lalioiir Mr Willis submit tol a motion that in order to re lieve the parlous condition of the coni industry, the whole of the coal he pooled and that private selling agencies he abolished. He also suggested that a levy of one shilling per ton on all coal produced he paid into a fund to provide work tor unemployed miners. Ihe motion also protested against any further mining leases being granted to private enterprises. The motion was ruled out ot order hut will he discussed later.
