UNIQUE EVENT IN TORONTO An event unique in Canadian Church annals took place in Toronto recently, when pulpits were exchanged between Rabbi lsserman, of Holy .Blossom Synagogue. and the Rev. K.' C. Hunter, of the United Church, which is a sort- of amalgamation of the Free Churches of Canada. -At the synagogue, Mr Hunter, donned the cap and gown of the Rabbi, and preached a sermon, while the Rabbi at file Protestant Church discarded cap and gown, and made a- fervent- plea for a. better understanding and co-operation between the various religious denominations. He urged the establishment in every Christian Sntidav School of a

course of study of Jewish religion under a Jewish tutor, with ;i similar course in Christian religion at- the synagogues.
