An inquest was held today on Thomas .Smith iMnrtin Mallinson, aged 15, who Tiled as the remll of injury In his head, received while playing cricket at Eastbourne on Sunday. Evidence was given that deceased was struck by the bat, which a player swung round to hit a. ball. The Coroner, Mr Salmon, said that tho case, was an extremely sad one. 'Hie whole thing was purely accidental.
