HOW TIMES CHANGE
BATHING SUITS IN A CITY SYDNEY, 19th January. Tirrie was when a girl walking along Macquarie street in the city in a bathing costume would certainly have linen arrested, for Macquarie street is far from' the surf. It takes at least 20 minutes to get to the neares', beach in a motor car. Vet in these modern days girls are to be seen almost any time tripping from Macquarie street flats in swimming costumes without even towels round them, entering waiting motor cars on the other side of the road, and returning again a few hours later in the same way. In fact, one might almost think at times when strolling down this palm-fringed thoroughfare, that one is on the Lido.
