WANGANUI, This Day A man named Winter, a resident of Maxwell, .about 15 miles from Wanganui telephoned the "Herald" thip morning that he and five other residents saw a plane at 8.40 on Tuesday night, and added that he intended to come to Wanganui to-day arid" give a sworn statement if necessary to the postmaster. Maxwell is high up and on a clear day residents would have a splendid view of the sea for a considerable distance.
