(Received 12th Jan., 2.20 p,m.) VANCOUVER, 11th Jan. Mr Digby Denham. sailed by the Aoijangi to-day. He said that oil may ransom Queensland from debt and depression. He had received a cable that, quantities had been found. Mr Denham expressed the hope that CanadianAustralian Treaty would prove more profitable to Australia. He blamed the Australian producers for not pushing their products in Canada and said that he thought the new ministry of Industries would change that.
