MONEY PUT ON THE WRONG HORSE (United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Leo Reginald Dennis, aged 24, who stole a diamond ring valued at £7, , pawned it for 10s, and put the money on j a horse that lost, was sentenced to six months’ gaol by Magistrate Mosley today. Accused had also stolen £7.’
