FREE LABOUR

PLENTY OFFERING

(Received sth December, 0.55 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The strike position is unchanged. There is plenty of free labour offering, but as the bureau is not yet established, work was refused. Several additional vessels were tied up during the week-end. There were only two departures and in both instances much cargo had to be left behind. The liner Maloja is due at Sydney to-day already four days' late, and is compelled to bring cargo which it was intended to land at Melbourne, to Sydney.
