HAWAIIAN TROUBADOURS
To-morrow night, Ernest K. Kaai's celebrated Hawaiian Troubadours will open at the Theatre Royal for two nights only. They have recently touijed tlie < Australian' States and achieved a wonderful success;. Many new acts and faces have been added to the combination, and the management promise many pleasing surprises. This company has /proved itself to be without doubt the most novel and versatile that has over toured the world under, the direction of Mr Ernest K. Kaai. They played before His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales, and they played for 130 nights at Melbourne and 120 nights at Sydney. Mr Kaai has been composing Hawaiian songs and dances, which are known all over the world; and he has the distinction of being the first Hawaiian musician to actually place his nation's melodies into written music.
