He has kept everybody wailing up to two hours, but the real triumph eame when he decided to go to bed at 10.30 in the morning instead of going to Kit iarney. A speeial train had been ordered' and stood cooling it- 1 wheels at the station, while an assembly of distinguished people stood looking at each other, but the Mayor went In bed and Killarney was not visited. Later he returned to London hut awoke an hour after the train reached the city and decided to visit the town, late, as usual, and consequently was late for a luncheon appointment. The “Daily Express” comments: “H used ot he said that punctuality was the politeness of Princes, hot passably missing minutes makes manners lor mayors.”
