AMERICAN COMMENT

(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association)

NEW YORK. 20th Aug.

The “New York Times,” in a leader headed “Labour in Australia,” outlines the New South Wales campaign, and says that most of the Australian Labour Parties are organised on the basis of partisan exclusiveness which even Tammany Hall might envy. It appears tlityt while organised ■ Labour in other countries may have something to learn from the great Australian experiment, it also has a warning of examples not to he followed.
