FIRE AT EXHIBITION
LITTLE DAMAGE DONE (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, This Day. At 11.30 last night a lire broke, out in the sideshow section of the Auckland Winter Exhibition. The sheds had been locked, but several operators remained for some time after closing hours. Though the alarm was first given by the nightwatchman the fire had evidently been burning for several minutes, as flames penetrated the wall in two places, also lodging in the roof. The brigade, were quickly on the scene and soon had the outbreak controlled with little damage. No policy on the exhibits was held by the authorities.
