The Court of Correction sentenced Communists charged with espionage. Six were fined 1000 to 5000 francs and sentenced to from 16 months' to five years 1 imprisonment. Councillor Cremet and the secretary, who have long evaded arrest, were fined 100,000 francs, deprived of civic rights for five years,', and sentenced to five years' solitary confinement. *'
