NO NEW ZEALAND TEAM FOR

AUSTRALIA

(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association)

(Received 27th Julv, 12.40 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day

A meeting of the New South Wales Rugby League Committee decided not to entertain the proposal of the New Zealand League that tho Australian Board of Control should invite New Zealand to send a team to play in Sydney in September, with matches to follow in Queensland. It also decided to ask the New Zealand League if it would agree to send two delegates to the next meeting of the Australian Board of Control, their expenses to be borne equally by New South Wales, Queensland, and New Zealand.

The meeting will discuss the question of a visit of an English team to Australia and New Zealand next season, and the same generally in Australia and New Zealand.
