Following on a piquant controversy in the form of newspaper inter-views, Marquis Ely says he is prepared to give £IOOO to charity if Lord Augustus? Loftus, who says lie is a son of the fourth marquis, can substantiate his claims. Lord Augustus previously stated that be was not interested in titles, being content with his present portion in life.
