LONUCm, 9th June

The Empire Marketing Board is presenting n challenge cup valued at £IOO, for the finest display of Empire goods during the advertising exhibition week from 18th to 23rd July.

Thirlv London boroughs are cooperating in response to Sir Philip CunliffeListers' appeal for simultaneous displays of Empire produce. Manufacturers and retailers have purchased 50,000 "Buy British" posters and 250,000 window streamers.

SUPPORT OF EMPIRE SERVICE LEAGUE

(Received 11th June, 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, 10Ch June.

The British Service League carried a resolution recommending Empire headquarters to send a questionnaire to branches all over the Empire, inviting suggestions for using theovflaaisation to further .inter-Imperial trade. Supporters emphasised that the proposal was in no way political.
