WELLINGTON, This Day. The .Fruitgrowers’ Federation Confer* fence stressed the need of regulating supplies to the local fruit market, A remit advocating the adoption of the. sticker system for gi-owers marketing fruit for local sale was thrown out after some discussion, in which speakers declared that the present voluntary system had failed and that compulsory regulation was not acceptable.
