AUCKLAND, This Day. For the third and final day of the Auckland Racing Club's winter meeting at Ellerslie, the weather is inclined to be fine after a stormy morning, but the track is very heavy. The attendance is fair. Results:— Tamaki Steeples, of 500 sovs; about two' miles and a half.—l Zifcon, 11.8 (Bowdeh 1 ) ,1; 2 Peh/aavies, 9.7 (Byrne). 2; 7 Syndicate, .9.0 (Stanway), 3. AH started: ; Woh .by a length. Twenty lengths, between second and third. Time, 5.26'3-5.. A protest against Zircon for coming over on Pendavies in the final stages of the Tamaki Steeples was dismissed. ' Ora'kei Hurdles, of 500 sovs; one mile and three-quarters.—3' Kamehamehtt, 9.6, . (Henderson), 1; 1 Potoaniii, .9.0 (Mcßae), 2; 2 Just John, 9.7 (Eager), 3. All started. Won try four lengths; 100 yards between second and third. Time, 3.33.
York Handicap, of 800 sovs; one mile, —2 Master Dooii, 9.6 (Henderson), 1; 4 True Blood, 9.1 (Pine), 2; 11 Black Mint 9.9 (Hobsqn), 3. Scratched: Sun Dp. Won by three lengths; half a length between second arid third. Time, 1.48 3-5.
