THE CHURCHES

Monthly Commjunion will be celebrated al the close of the morning service to-morrow at the Congregational Church. At the evening service Rev. Harold J. Ralph will preach on "Pots and Basins from the Jordan Valley." The Rev. R. Inglis, M.A., will be the preacher at Trinity Presbyterian Church to-morrow morning and evening, and at Tahuna at 2.30. Morning subject: "The Tired Feeling." Evening subject, "The Sword or the Cross." At the Wood Mission Hall on Sunday evening being the Festival of St. Philip and St. James, Apostles and Martyrs, the Rev. F. C. Lawrence will given an address on the lessons that may be learnt from thtj lives of these two early Christian leaders.

The services in the Nelson Baptist Church will be conducted at 11 a.m. by Pastor J. C. Macky whose subject will be "Christ's message to Pergamum," and at. G. 30 p.m. members of the Young Men's Bible Class will give some impressions of the Bible (.'lass camp at Waiiganni. The ordinance of the Lord's Supper will be observed at the close of the evening's service. At St. John's Methodist Church tomorrow, the Rev. P. N. Knight will conduct both services. Morning subject, "Tho Courage of Faith." Evening', "Give Neither Poverty Nor Riches." Anthem, "O Ye that Love the Lord."
