Mr Von . Haast.'appeared for the Law Society and Mr Perry for; Black. Gillies was not represented. The case of Black wag adjourned until March 23, pending the arrival of affidavits from Auckland. The facts alleged in the '. Gillies case were that he failed to keep his trust account in order l and received altogether a'sum /of oyer £SOO. for his own use, being ■trust moneys. In one instance Gillies took over work for one Benn from Irwin and Irwin and collected £176/8/11, which Benn instructed him to return to Irwin and Irwin. This was not done, though Gillies stated that he had'done so'. Gil-
lies was struck off the rolls of the Law, ■; Society and ordered to pay £ls/15/costs. ,
