(Received 17th Nov., 9.35 a.m.) PEKIN, 16th Nov. When the British steamer “Sunning” was bound from Shanghai to Hongkong, pirates disguised', as passengers endeavoured to; gain control between. Amoy and Hong Kong. Determined resistance resulted .in the setting of the ship on fire, the wounding of an officer, and the taking away of two Europeans. The warship Blue Bell is standing by but with great difficulty on account of the high seas. The latest wireless states that the Blue Bell captured a boatload of pirates and is searching, for the Europeans. It is 1 understood the flames were subdued.
