MADRID, 16th Nov. Newspapers state that the yawl in which the Dane, Niel, Ventigodt, is voyaging around the world, "was sunk off San Pedro Dehnar. Ventigodt, after a vain struggle in a heavy sea left his :sole companion, Hansen, exhausted, and recommended him tn merely try to keep afloat while, he fetched help. He. reached the shore in darkness and some time elapsed before he met anybody and it is believed that in the meantime Hansen was,drowned. Madame Ventigodt left the yawl at Santander to return to Denmark, Hansen taking her place.
