VISIT OF H.M.S. DUNEDIN
SPORTS MEETING . .Competitors for the sports meeting organised by the Y.M.C.A. Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club in conjunction with the sports officers of H.M.S. Dunedin, to be held at Richmond Park on the People’s Day of the, .Agricultural Show,, are notified by advertisement in this issue, that entries close with the honorary secretary of the Athletic Club at the Y.M.C.A. office on Saturday at 9 p.m. The flat races include 100, 220, 440,' and handicaps, and besides the events especially arranged for members of the warship’s company, there will bp a high jump handicap. A star event Will be the cycle road race from the Show grounds to -Belgrove and back, and for this and < other events there promises to be good fields.
