Hardley, of Auckland, president of the New Zealand Bowling Association, who is making an official visit to the "howling centres of the. Dominion, will* arrive in Nelson this afternoon from the West Coast. He will be met in the evening by the officials of the local Centre. Mr Hardley goes on to Blenheim on Friday.

A Christchurch Press Association telegram reports the death of Mr Walter Hill, Chairman of the Christchurch Drainage Board and prominently connected with wool-broking.
