DEATH FROM GAS POISONING
(United Press Association.) AUCKLAND .This Day. At 7.30 o'clock on Wednesday morning, Alfred .]nltn Brocket!, aged 69, who resided at Calliope Road, Devonpoi't, was found in an unconscious condition in bed. When the room was entered it was found it was full.of gas. i'hc windows were closed, and the gas jet- turned on. Dr Hagen was summoned and attended Brockctt, hut lie never regained consciousness, and died at 10 o’clock last evening. Deceased, who was a married man, was a bootmaker.
