“COLLECTED FROM GROWERS"

Sir,—Fruitgrowers will probably be interested to note that during the' past fruit season the Fruit Export Control Board have collected from growers in the Nelson district, on the basis of 2d per case on the fruit exported, a sum of £3816. For the same period the other provinces who have worked under the Control Board have made the following contributions:—Hawkes Bay, £B3G :
Auckland, £472; Marlborough. £146: Wairarapn. £64; Poverty Bay, £SB; Canterbury, £2O; total lor Ihe rest ol New Zealand £1616.
