Another large gang of men arrived this morning from Wanganui in charge uf the district engineer, and proceeded to the scene uf the landslide in the Mnmiwnlu Gorge, which has blocked the railway since Sunday morning. No work was done last night, due lo the constant danger from falls of debris, lull with augmented forces it is hoped to liaye the line clear by the end of the week provided there is no TmTlier rain.
