HALIFAX (Nova Scotia), 11th Oct. Italians lo the number of 123 who landed on the coast of Nova Scotia, some weeks ago in contravention of the immigration Jaws, were quietly deported today on the .steamer Columbia, which sailed for Ilalv al dawn.

Restless after the long confinement four smuggled Italians escaped from the detention shed on Saturday and have not yet been recaptured. Two are reported to have landed hid- were never taken in custody.
