Two storemen, John Willis, married, with four children, a resident of Brooklyn, and Phillip Allan, single, of Newtown, were'found dead crushed under the lift at the foot of the well in How deji.'s Buildings this morning. Bolt, woto employed by A. I!. Ilislop. Lid. No one paw the tragedy, but it is thought they were looking down the shaft when the lift descended upon them, giving them no chance to jump clear.
