SEAMAN’S DANGEROUS BLIGHT (Dn.ted Association.) WANGANUI, This Day. A middle-aged man named Lancaster, a seaman on the Gale, was badly gored by a bullock while cattle were being loaded on Lr.< the ship last night. The animals were being penned in the steamer's hold when a bullock rushed three seamen. Lancaster endeavoured to help his mates and was tossed into an adjoining pen. The other men escaped. Lancaster was hoisted from the hold in a sling and taken to the hospital. He was gored in the thigh and arm and lost a lot of blood and was generally knocked about. He is not in immediate danger.
