■ The Weekly Press contains a photograph of Dr.' D. 11. Black (son of tMr and Mrs R. Black, of Stoke.) of Emmanuel College and Dr. "A. J. Harrop (Cains College) after receiving their degrees as Doctors of Philosophy at Cambridge. Dr. Black is continuing his research work in London. Mr K. R. J. Saxon, who recently went to England', is on the staff of Oranleigh School. Surrey. At the last congregation at Cnoiihrklge he hat! the Master of Arts degree conferred on him. A Wellington Press message received to-day slates that Sir E. Mi'tchelson. was knocked down by a motor near Parliamentary Buildings, but was not seriously hurt.
