EMPIRE THEATRE TO-NTGHT "A WOMAN'S FAITH" Donovan Steele, his fiancee and friends, are travelling from New York to Montr al. Donovan and his fiancee, standing on the observation platform, kiss each other good-night. Steele, raising the shades on the platform windows, sees his fiancee and his best friend embracing. Steele quits the train. Faith in ev rything is left bohind. He loses himself in a lumber camp. Once, while in town, young Leandre Turco recognises him as the man who once saved his life. Turcot insists that Steele make his home with him.. There h meets Neree Caron, wanted for murder. Bitter'against women, Steele mocks her protestations. When her uncle conies to the town. ■Steele, for some strange reason, t.i ;.rgs him with the crime. Cluny, a detective in love with Neree, traces her. 'Hie pair are found toy the detective. A fight follows. ■ Steele wins, but is blinded. Neree matchs her faith against Ins scoffs, persuad s him to go with her to the Shrine of St. Anne de Beaupre. Love performs a miracle. Comedy aid News.
