The President of. the Fruitgrowers' Federation, speaking at the provincial conference tins morning, stated that although export had been so large the local markets gen'Qrallv were glutted. They must seek to place on the local market better quality fruit, because the consumer knew the high quality of the fruit exported and wanted to know why he should have to be content with inferior.
