Messrs E. Buxton and Co., Ltd., advise having received tho following cablegrain from their London agents, Messrs Sanderson, ’Murray, and Elder, Ltd., under date 10th inst.:—“Sales have closed. Crossbred scoured ail change, medium and coarse declined 71 vanned 5 per cent . Slipe crossbred advanced par to 5 per cent. Crossbred lambs declined 5 per cent.” Messrs Dalgety and Co. Ltd. _ report having received the following cablegram from their London house under date of 10th inst. :—Wool sales closed ; attendance of buyers good ; competition good for most descriptions; Continental buyers principal operators. As compared with last sales closing rates, greasy merinos, scoured merinos and greasy halfbreds, luichmiged ; greasy fine crossbreds Id to lid lower, greasy medium crossbreds Id to 1/d lower, greasy coarse crossbreds .Id lower, greasy crossbred bellies and pieces unchanged, scoured fine crossbreds Id to 2d higher, scoured medium and coarse ciossbred unchanged, slipes unchanged, Merino lambs Id higher, crossbred lambs Id to lid lower.” 117.940 hales of wool offered, including 35,700 Nfew Zealand, 3,950 Cape, 23,900 South American. Sold 71,000 Colonial, 24.500 South American and sundries. Continent iias bought 61,000, Home trade 33,000, America 1.000, carried forward 51,000 of which 34,500 were not offered.” the following is the range of prices:— Merino good to super 221,d to 25d; low to medium 18/d to 21d; half bred 56/58 good to super 21/d to 24d; low to medium 18d to 201 d ; 50/56 good to super 19d to 22d ; low to medium 16/d to 18|d; fine cross bred 48/50, good to super, 15d to 17/d'; low to medium 13:1 to 14/d; fine cross bred 46/48, good to super, 14/d to 16d ; low to medium 12/d to 14d • cress bred 44/46. good to super, 14d to 15d ; low to medium. 12d to 13/d ; 40/44 good to super 13d to 14d; low to medium 11 Id to 12/d; coarse crossbred ■*6/40, good to super, 12/d to 13-Id; low to medium, lid to 12d.
