King Fuad opened Parliament with a speecli from the throne, read by Adly Pasha. It was a masterpiece of ambiguity and said steps will be taken for the admission c fi Egypt- to the League of Nations. CAIRO' June 11. The Parliamentary inauguration was peaceful. The speecli from the Throne stated that the Government intends to enforce respect for the constitution, safeguard the rights of foreigners, and especially aimed to re-establish cordial Anglo-European relations. There was enthusiastic applause when it was announced filial Egypt had not abandoned claims to the .Soudan.
