MURCHISON, This Day. There was very heavy rain rain during the week-end. The Biiller was in high flood. Three slips have occurred between Murchison and Sullivans Bridge, and a further series between there and the Lyell. Gangs are at work clearing the road, but it will be 'some days before through traffic can be '-'continued.

At least two cars are stuck between the slips.
