Messrs K. \Y. Stiles and I. TunnielilTe, the joint secretaries, had a strenuous time, and carried out their duties to the complete satisfaetion of all. The umpires were: Messrs hums and Wilkinson (Nelson green'. j. Tunniililfe i-Maitail and 11. Ricketts (Wakefield). !

The ladies who had charge of the catering arrangements did splendid work, and their help was much appreciated. Ilie tournament has been a most successful one.
