Tht' annual conference ol the United Cnmmereial Travellers Association uf Australia and New Zealand complained that its cert ifieates were not recognised by tin' railways, shipping companies, or hotels in Australia., though Australian certificates were recognised by those public facilities in the Dominion. Reciprocity in the matter was requested and a motion was carried to provide in the event of failure to obtain recognition of New Zealand certificates by transport auTTui-rities that the matter should he lelt toi the executive commit tee. The annual report showed a membership of 15.816; assets totalled £362,374; and £]1.257 was oai'd in bcnelits.
