BIG THRESHER SHARK

CAPTURED OFF CAPE BRETT (United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, This Day. Off Cape Brett vesterday Mr Beaton of Australia captured the first Thresher shark of the season, a monster of 420 pounds. The length of body was seven feet, and tail six feet ten inches. ft was hooked through the lips. The shark is being sent to Mocrewa freezing works and then to the Wanganui Museum.
