EMPIRE THEATRE TO-NIGHT .'•I AM THE* MAX" ■Rarely on local screens have we seen a picture that was as highly entertaining, as gripping, as "I Am The Man," Lionel Barrymore s latest production. No effort, no technique, no subtlety, seems beyond the power of this great actor to express. Whatever the demands of his part, he fulfills it, with nn ability seldom seen in any oi the other nnu.li vaunted stars of the screen. "I Am The, Man" is » vehicle particularly suited for Mr Barrymore s genius; and Chndwick I'iclurcs Corporation, the producers, evinced much astuteness in the selection of this story for him. We recommend that all sec this picture. Mr Barrymore is supported by an extremely capable cast. Seeua Owen plays with great feeling and charm, and the same may be said of the Others of this happily cast and happily played production. Buddy Messenger Comedy and News.
