AMUSEMENTS

EMPIRE THEATRE TO-NIGHT “THREE WISE FOOLS’’ A corking good picture is Goldwyn's “Three Wise Fools.” It has been directed by King Vidor -with all of his feeling for actuality in characterisation, in atmosphere and in background. Its story is that of three old bachelors who agree to take charge of the grown daughter of the girl who had rejected flic love of all three of them in their youth. Comedy complications ensue fast and furious and soon become interwoven in a series of dramatic incidents which are solved happily for all concerned after the girl lias been jailed on a charge of aiding and abetting three criminals to break out of prison, "-three Wise Fools” has almost everything in it. that- the most jaded fan could wish for —comedy, romance, reality, thrills and spectacular .moments. Comedy, Scenic and News.
