ARRIVAL OF H.M.S. DIOMEDE

(United Press Association.) •AUCKLAND, This Day. IT.M.S. Diomede arrived at 9.4fi this morning. She is slightly larger than her sister ship Dunedin. One noticeable feature is the number of wireless aerials, on which department she Is quite tip to date. She was completely refitted before leaving England on November 21. She is the first vessel to come out hv the Panama Canal. She called at Bermuda. Jamaica, Pantuna and San Pedro (where she took in oil fuel), Honolulu and Suva. While in Hawaii she sent a party ashore to tidy tip the spot whore Captain Cook was killed. Sh 6 had a pleasant voyage with the exception of a blow in the Atlantic.
