A CHURCH BURNT DOWN
“STRONGLY ANGLO-CATHOLIC” (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association) LONDON, Jan. 11. The parish church of St. Michael's, Bqdminster, in Bristol, was burned down. The damage is £12,000. Thedhtirch was strongly Anglo-Catholic and the police believe the opponents of the ritual deliberately set fire to the church, the vestry- alone escaping. A safe therein .weighing several hundredweights was found overturned and the vestments were in confusion, but there,is no real evidence of theft, though the miscreants apparently attempted to suggest burglary.
